POSITION INFO:

ð Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical equipment for process plants, including piping and pressure vessels.
Participate in all project phases, from concept design to installation and commissioning.
Create detailed 3D models, optimizing plant layouts.
Interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Solve complex problems using advanced engineering software.
Review and ensure compliance with fabrication packs for pressure equipment and piping.
Prepare specifications for piping and valves.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective design integration.
Stay current with industry-specific design standards.

ð What We’re Looking For:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
â Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
â Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in mechanical and plant/structural design
â Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Plant 3D
â Familiarity with piping and pressure vessel design software (e.g., CAEPIPE, CAESAR, PV-Elite) is advantageous
â Knowledge of design codes (ASME, SANS, EN)
