POSITION INFO:

My client is seeking a Joiner in the woodworking industry to join their company.

Duties include:

• Operating the workshop and creating custom orders for clients
• Building / creating custom made orders
• Understanding architectural and technical drawings to determine dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
• Accurate measurement and cutting of wood to meet specifications
• Sanding and Finishing: Sanding surfaces smooth and applying finishes such as paint, varnish, or stain to protect and enhance the wood.
• Handling Tools and Equipment: Operating and maintaining various tools and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications

 

 

Minimum requirements:

• strong understanding of woodworking techniques
• Qualified as a Joiner
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
