Junior AML Manager

Responsibilities

•   Serve as segregated non-frontline AML/CFT/KYC check to enforce dual control for FI client on-boarding and review

• Completion and update of AML/KYC for all clients, both FI and Corporate clients
• Serve as non-frontline AML/CFT/KYC for new clients and review existing corporate clients
• AML monitoring from AMLMAS system for clients belonging to CIB, conducting EDD where necessary
• Training of department on AML/CFT as well as other regulations as they become necessary;
• Updating of department AML PPM, when required (CIB AML PPM / FI PPM)
• Provide guidance to the department with regards to AML concerns

Requirements

• LLB, B Com Law or B Com Accounting/Finance
• 2 years general compliance or risk experience in a compliance role
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of risks having worked in an AML role/background
• Knowledge of   AML,   FICA,   Company’ Act well as any other high-risk legislation affecting the banking environment required
• Personal skills to include good communication skills, interpersonal skills, team player, motivated and accurate in completion of work
• Report writing
