Junior Accountant

They are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Manage invoicing, tracking, and reporting of revenue and expenses.
• Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management.
• Assist with audits, tax preparations, and internal controls.

• A relevant accounting or finance qualification (Diploma, Degree, or similar).
• Proven experience in a junior accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (experience with [Insert specific software, e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, etc.]).
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
