SUMMARY:
Kloof - Our Client based in the Kloof, Durban area is looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious, and vibrant Junior Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team to assist in overseeing the Company's financial information and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial entries, and reconciliations.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

Enter invoices, receipts, and payments into Xero with proper coding and categorization.
Follow up on overdue customer payments and log updates in Xero.
Assist in generating and sending invoices to clients through Xero.
Reconcile petty cash and log transactions in Xero.
Prepare documentation for month-end processes, including account reconciliations.
Handle general inquiries from suppliers and customers regarding payments and invoices.
Maintain an organized system for financial documents and receipts.
Support the Senior Bookkeeper in preparing VAT and compliance filings in Xero

Experience & Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
Proficiency in Xero: Understanding its features and basic tools.
Microsoft Package (Word, Excel etc)
Own transport essential

Salary: R15 000 - R17 500
