SUMMARY:
Junior C++ Developer / Deployment Operative - Century City

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Areas of Responsibility:

vDevelop alongside a senior developer.

vLearn testing methodologies.

vLearn business rule configurations.

vConfigure and test systems before deployment.

vDeploy new software systems to sites.

vTroubleshoot system failures.

vAlter configurations to tie into existing site networks.

vProvide after hour support for system related failures.

vCompile and update system manuals.

Preferred Skills:

vMatric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification required.

vNational Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent NQF 5/6 qualification required.

vC++ system development (1+ years).

vMySQL (any Database) experience beneficial.

vBasic Networking Experience beneficial.

vKnowledge of XML beneficial.

vAny previous support experience beneficial.

vTouch typing.

vPHP development advantageous.

vLinux proficiency advantageous.

vProduce quality code.

vGood documentation skills.

Preferred Attributes:

vAnalytical with a penchant for problem solving.

vStrong ethics.

vWilling to learn / willing to share.

vGood communication skills.

vBe enthusiastic about new technology.
