A reputable law firm in Durbanville is seeking a talented and motivated Junior conveyancing secretary to join their Conveyancing Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for estate transfers and property law to contribute to a dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process estate transfers and normal transfers.
• Handle bond applications for Standard Bank and Nedbank.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
• Utilize software tools including GHOSTCONVEY (now LEXISCONVEY), STORDOC, and Legalsuite for document management and processing.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a law firm.
• Admitted attorney with relevant qualifications in conveyancing.
• Proficiency in computer software, including strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Legalsuite is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
• A valid driver’s license.
