Junior Conveyancing Attorney

A reputable law firm in Durbanville is seeking a talented and motivated Junior conveyancing attorney to join their Conveyancing Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for estate transfers and property law to contribute to a dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and process estate transfers and normal transfers.
Handle bond applications for Standard Bank and Nedbank.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
Utilize software tools including GHOSTCONVEY (now LEXISCONVEY), STORDOC, and Legalsuite for document management and processing.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a law firm.
Admitted attorney with relevant qualifications in conveyancing.
Proficiency in computer software, including strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with Legalsuite is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
A valid driver’s license.
