Our client is a high-end product wholesale company, focused on providing high-end products in the market. Their goal is to combine these products with expert back-up service, ensuring they deliver excellent value to their clients.
Role
We are looking for an eager and motivated Junior Costing Clerk to join their team. This is a junior level position where you will support the costing processes, assisting with daily tasks and helping ensure accurate tracking of costs for repairs and services (warranty vs out of warranty). You will work closely with the repairs team and gain valuable exposure to costing within a Wholesale company.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with calculating and tracking costs for repairs and maintenance jobs
• Help maintain and update costing records and spreadsheets
• Support the team in preparing invoices and cost-related reports
• Ensure all cost information is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist with processing purchase orders and material cost tracking
• Help with filing and organizing costing documents
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed
Requirements
• Matric is a minimum and a finance-related qualification is a plus
• Excellent understanding of numbers and calculations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills and a team player
• A willingness to learn and grow within the finance department would be an advantage
• Exposure to SAP would be an advantage
