Junior Credit Analyst – Cape Town

One of clients a leading Commercial Finance Corporation is urgently looking to appoint a Junior Credit Analyst for their Office in Tygerberg, Cape Town.

Credit risk assessments.
Evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, bank statements, debtors, creditors analysis, scorecards and other data sources.
Analysis and reporting of monthly production numbers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years experience in commercial credit environment
Proficiency in financial analysis, credit scoring models, and accounting software.
Strong ability to analyze financial data and make sound credit decisions
High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing credit limits and assessing risk.
Understanding of the company’s industry sector and market trends affecting credit risk.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a Team
