An international Data Analytics company based in Johannesburg is actively recruiting for a Junior Data Engineer. The company is small and intimate with a massive impact in the market. Your main focus will be to implement data architecture within the company and keep up to date with data engineering

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BSc related Degree from a recognised university, completed in record time
Excellent Matric Results
70%+ average University results
Skills: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, Relational Databases, Cloud Platforms, ETL, Data Modelling
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

KPA's:

Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes tailored to their clients' specific needs focusing on data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of data solutions.
·Data collection and integration from data sources such as; databases, APIs, external data providers and streaming sources.
Aggregation of unstructured data collected from multiple sources (data warehousing).
Data storage and management - optimization of data schemas; ensuring data quality and integrity.
Process and analyze large sets of data.
Understand and implement Data Architecture, including data in motion, data at rest, datasets and the relationship between data-dependent processes and applications.
Keep up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
