Junior Designer

SCOPE:

• As the Designer you collaborate with other team members and drive design excellence. Your experience and expertise contribute to shaping our brand identity and visual communication.

• You are accountable for delivering high-quality design work that aligns with our brand guidelines, business objectives, and strategic vision.

• English speaking
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Specialization in Creative design; proficiency with design software
• Attention to detail
• General computer skills (MS Office, PPT, Excel)
• Team-player
• Knowledge of the SAHPRA regulations is a plus

• Objective: Develop creative concepts and designs for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Design Product Launch Materials: Create visually compelling designs for product launches. This includes developing materials such as packaging, promotional collateral, and digital assets. Your designs should effectively communicate product features, benefits, and brand values. Attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines are essential in this role.
• Design Materials for Cycle Themes: Create visuals for Cycle themes which includes email marketing, social media images, key account assets, promotional material, adverts, presentations and product detail aids.

• Objective: Ensure consistency across all visual touchpoints, including digital platforms, print materials, and packaging. Uphold brand guidelines and elevate our brand identity.
• Brand Consistency Across Visual Touch Points
• As junior designer, your primary role is to ensure consistent visual representation across all touchpoints. This includes digital platforms (websites, social media), print materials (brochures, flyers), and packaging. You’ll meticulously apply brand guidelines, maintaining uniformity in typography, color usage, and graphic elements. By upholding brand consistency, you reinforce brand recognition and trust among our audience.
• New in-house designs: Design fresh visual assets from concept to execution. This includes labels, product sheets, insert leaflets, promotion leaflets, brochures, POS, Category Management elements, email marketing, etc.
• Editing materials: You will be working with existing material, updating and editing based on guidelines and brand toolkit.

• Objective: Collaborate with team members and other designers. Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Important part of the bigger Marketing Team: As a designer you play a crucial role Sales & Marketing Team. Act as a teamplayer, providing guidance and constructive feedback to your colleagues. Share your knowledge, encourage creativity, and help others in developing design skills. By fostering a supportive learning environment, you contribute to the team’s overall success.

• Objective: Ensure the effective management of the digital spaces (social media & website)
• Update / Editing: Ensures that all products on website aligns with edits and updates in the product portfolio.
• New pages/banners/platforms: Create additional pages/banners that align with strategy and briefings by Marketing Manager.
