POSITION INFO:

Are you a passionate and driven Electrical Engineer looking to make your mark in the manufacturing industry? CK Africa Talent is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a growing company based in Durban North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems across various industries.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to create layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical components and systems.
• Support technical design calculations, documentation, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and NRCS certification.
• Participate in project meetings and provide innovative design solutions.
• Review and validate Bill of Materials and conduct feasibility studies for semi knock-down products.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 Years experience
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and design tools.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations (e.g., SANS, IEC).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
