SUMMARY:
A well-known international Laboratory Equipment Company requires the above to join their Service Team and assist with installations, validations and re-certifications of their equipment at various customer sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Matric with a minimum of 50% for Mathematics is essential for this role.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Previous technical experience servicing equipment is referred for this role.
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Performing daily service tasks scheduled by the Operations Manager which includes, installations, validations and re-certifications of Company products.
Conducting callouts, assessments and repair work as scheduled and arranged by Post Service, Senior Service Engineers and the Technical Manager.
Performing firmware installations and updates on Company products.
Assisting with and supervising ducting and extraction installations.
Conducting site assessments and site inspections for installations and as requested by Management.
Assisting with generating sales for both Sales Team and Service Team by recommending parts, services and new products when on site to Clients.
Filling in and sending the service report to Clients after each service job, repair or callout as well as the certificate after each service, validation and commissioning job.
Sending and providing feedback via e-mails to Clients, Managers and other employees.
Checking and completing monthly equipment checklist and submitting to the Manager.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
