Junior Engineer

SUMMARY:
My client has an opportunity for a Junior Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, testing, and implementation of innovative drilling systems, ensuring project deliverables meet quality and performance standards, and contributing to the optimization of mining operations.

POSITION INFO:

• Grade 12, Beng/BTech/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the mining or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Project support: Providing general support, developing plans, and making calculations for engineering projects
• Testing: Verifying and testing metrics, entering test results into a database, and identifying areas for improvement
• Problem-solving: Identifying and reporting problems, and recommending and assisting with solutions
• Collaboration: Working with other Engineers, Contractors, and Technicians
• Communication: Communicating with clients to ensure code meets their expectations
• Documentation: Preparing progress reports and project schedules.
• Research: Conducting basic research and data analysis.
