Junior HR Generalist

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading subcontractor to the construction sector, seeks to employ a Junior HR Generalist to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that this is not a management role but rather a support role to the HR Manager, specifically requiring experience in a diverse blue collar and technical environment. Candidates from Cape Town will receive preference due to the urgency to fill the role.

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have a tertiary qualification in HR Management, coupled with 2-5 years experience in HR within a technical, engineering or related industry.
• You will have experience in dealing with Industrial Relations, Training and Development, as well as maintaining employee wellness programs to motivate and uplift the company culture.
• You will have experience in maintaining personnel files, as well as leave, absenteeism and overtime records and ensure HR administration is accurately and efficiently up to date.
• You will have experience in recruiting and onboarding new employees, as well as providing management support with regards to performance management
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
