JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Junior Health and Safety Officer responsible for Occupational Health Service and Safety Management System to ensure correct standards and support is provided to all employees.

As the Health and Safety Officer, you implement and report on local initiatives and initiatives required by the Health & Safety department. You ensure that all records relating to training, inductions and medicals are maintained and retraining; induction and medicals are scheduled prior to expiry of these.

You compile safety files for projects and service sites as well as assisting sub-contractors to comply with H&S requirements. As a Junior Health and Safety Specialist, you will not only help develop and issue safety management system, but also will assist to audit the effectiveness of this system, report issues to top management and will improve & modify it when required for protecting the organization
