NQF level 5, Matric with Maths above 60% A+ certification,

Microsoft certified IT support fundamentals certification.

A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, online Exchange and

Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software

Experience

1-3 years’ experience in IT position

General

Expected to be on standby

Key Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring computer hardware, cabling, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Testing new technology

Deploy new software and upgrade existing software when required
Support factory and warehouses in terms of all IT needs
Ensure tickets are dealt with and closed in accordance with standard operating procedure
Set up applications, e-mail and equipment for users
Replace computer/IT equipment in accordance with life cycle
Train users as and when needed
Conduct scheduled maintenance
Basic programming
Do minor repairs on equipment
Obtain quotations for IT equipment and raise PO for approval
Maintain asset register
Adhere to POPI, IT policies and procedures
Liaise with service provider when required
Carry out all duties/tasks delegated by the Senior IT Administrator
Assist Senior IT Administrator with the implementation of projects

KPA's:
Assist users with technical problems for desktop support
Maintain a healthy and available IT system
Assist in business IT needs
