SUMMARY:
Individuals with a qualification in instrumentation and/or Mechanical engineering, or as a qualified instrument engineer/technician will be considered for the role of Junior Instrument Specialist. A valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across the SADC region is required for the role.
POSITION INFO:
Instrumentation Division is looking for a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Instrument Specialist. This role will be based at Head Office and will involve collaborating closely with the Instrumentation Division and it’s the company’s sales team across South Africa. With fierce competition we are looking for a resilient person, willing to grow and do what it takes to make breakthroughs in the market, someone who prides themselves in business know how and has the tenacity to compete with international competitors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Recently Qualified Instrument Engineer / Technician preferable
- Qualification in instrumentation and or mechanical engineering with specific attention to Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics and Hydraulics will be advantageous
- Able to present to an audience
- Must have knowledge and understanding of process control / control loops and primary instrumentation principles.
- Must have basic experience with control protocols such as Profibus / HART / MODBUS.
- Computer skills and numerical skills a pre-requisite.
- Must be a self-starter (go getter).
- Be a good-natured presentable person that communicates easily.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must have valid drivers licence.
- Must have own reliable vehicle.
- Will be required to support branches and their clients nationwide.
