Junior Management Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Manager, you'll oversee the operational finance division, coordinate budgets, manage billing, and handle debt management. POSITION INFO:

Operational Excellence
Oversee the coordination of accountant activities, including training, HR tasks, and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance by monitoring internal controls across branches.
Lead business process improvements through project management to drive operational finance efficiency.
Work with Brand Finance and GSS to measure and track KPIs related to billing and debt management.
Introduce and implement best practices for billing and debt management, focusing on areas like fundraising and events not covered by SIMS.
Develop and track action plans to enhance operational performance.
Define business requirements for new system implementations or process roll-outs to enhance efficiency.
 
Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting
Prepare comprehensive, data-driven budgets for each business unit, in collaboration with management and through detailed historical analysis.
Provide support to senior management during the budget creation process to ensure effective financial planning.
Track, monitor, and analyze financial performance, coordinating with all stakeholders to address any issues.
Conduct monthly trend analyses, identifying and highlighting critical financial insights.
 
Billing Operations | Ensuring Accuracy & Customer Service Excellence
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing inputs before transferring them to the Group Shared Services (GSS) Billing Team.
Lead and manage the annual billing master data setup campaign for the new school year.
Maintain billing master data throughout the year, ensuring accurate and complete student account fee payer information from various systems and sources.
Collaborate with GSS to manage billing SLAs and KPIs, implementing process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency.
Address escalated account queries and manage communication between internal and external stakeholders in the billing process.
Lead projects related to billing operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and reporting.

Skills & Experience:
Data analytics experience
Advanced Excel
Microsoft D365
Excellent understanding of Management Accounting

Qualification:
