An entry-level role of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator involves supporting sales and marketing team, assisting with
campaigns, conducting market research, and engaging with customers by prospecting, generating leads, and qualifying
potential customers for the sales team.
The job holder will report to Khanyisile Twala (Sales and Marketing Manager).
This role is a great way to learn about the sales process and gain valuable experience in marketing strategies, and will contribute
to the organization’s vision of becoming a reliable ongoing procurement solution to our customers by maintaining
cooperative effort & effective partnership.
Responsibilities:

• As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, responsibilities include:
• Prospecting: Identifying potential customers or leads through various channels like cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
• Lead Generation: Generating new leads by researching companies, industries, and decision-makers who could benefit from our products or services.
• Qualifying Leads: Evaluating leads based on specific criteria to determine their potential as sales opportunities.
• This involves understanding their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority.
• Outreach: Initiating contact with leads through personalized emails, calls, or messages to introduce our company's offerings and schedule appointments or demos for the sales team.
• Follow-up: Following up with leads to nurture relationships, address their questions or objections, and guide them through the sales funnel.
• Continuous Learning: Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions and address customer inquiries.

• To become a successful Sales and Marketing Coordinator, potential employees need to meet the following requirements:
• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the programme before.
• Educational Background: Grade 12 with school subjects such as Business Studies, English, Art, Tourism, Accounting,
• Economics or Office admin. We need someone who understands basic business, marketing, communications, or a
• related field.
• Sales and Marketing Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for effectively
• engaging with leads and collaborating with internal teams. We will teach knowledge of sales techniques, lead
• generation strategies, and marketing principles.
• Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand customer needs, identify pain points,  and articulate value propositions is crucial for building rapport and converting leads into opportunities.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using social media networks, email automation tools, and other sales and marketing technology is valuable for managing leads, tracking interactions, and optimizing outreach efforts.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manages multiple leads at the same time, and meets deadlines.
• Team Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate with the organization’s team to align strategies, share insights, and contribute to overall business growth.
• Adaptability and Resilience: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions, handle rejection, learn from setbacks, and persist in achieving goals is essential.
