Junior Mechanical Designer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the engineering and technical sector is looking for a Junior Mechanical Designer to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Requirements: 

• N6 in mechanical or higher in an engineering or science-related field.
• Basic Autodesk Inventor CAD experience or a strong desire to learn it.
• Good computer literacy skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Project management skills.
• The ability to be self-motivated, work individually and as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Design & detail equipment based upon customer requirements and within the guidelines of senior design engineers.
• Source and manage suppliers for components used within your design.
• Ensure project milestones are met.
• Be part of the equipment commissioning team.
