POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Junior Project Controls Manager

Location: Gauteng, West Rand District, Westonaria

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Mining

Job Duties:

• Support the Project Controls Manager in planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, costs, and resources
• Assist in developing and maintaining project controls tools and processes
• Conduct regular project progress reviews and provide reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure project milestones are met
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Proven experience in project controls or project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of project management principles and practises
• Proficiency in project management software and PowerBI
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in underground mining is a must
• Must be proficient in MS Project 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Master's degree in Project Management or related field

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional visits to project sites
• Travel may be necessary depending on project requirements
