Junior Quantitative Analyst

SUMMARY:
Financial Services business unit of leading Retail company seeks a junior Quantitative Analyst to join their Analytics department.

POSITION INFO:
The company is seeking either a newly Qualified MSc (Maths/Stats/BMI) or BSc Honours (Maths/Stats/BMI) with 1-2 years relevant working experience. Working knowledge of SAS is essential and non negotiable.

End-to-End Model Development
● Data preparation for various types of model developments (Originations, Behaviour and Collections).
● Develop predictive models according to best practice and industry standards.
● Develop unique deployment flow instructions (if needed).
● Co-ordinate the model deployment and test its model prediction accuracy.
● Assess the business impact assessments against expectation.
● Monitor the model performance against expectation, calibrate models if needed.

Business Analysis
● Analyse credit data to answer business-related questions with insight.
● Understand the overall credit system flow and how it connects with the credit strategy and business rules.
● May need to assist interdepartmental teams with analysis relating to finance, marketing and audits queries.
● Testing of credit risk system changes post deployment.
