Junior SQL Support Analyst required to join a Global Software Development company based in Edinburgh.
The company are known for implementation solutions and data migration for their clients across the oil and gas industry and are continuously growing. You will join a small team and work closely with the development team with the chance to learn new technical skills and getting hands on with new projects.
This role will present an exciting opportunity to assist users with a variety of challenging requests. You will have a strong technical background in both Software Applications and Microsoft Database technology and will provide excellent customer service for all users. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of SQL and be able to troubleshoot SQL databases and will act as an escalation point for any complex incidents which have been escalated by the 1st Line Staff.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Experience in a bespoke application software support assisting with technical, software and database issues
** Resolving application incidents, problems and requests for customers within agreed SLA's
** Maintain ownership of Incidents, ensuring status update and resolution according to SLA's
** Liaise with 3rd Party Vendors - including development staff
** SQL Server
** T SQL
