Junior Sales Administrator (IT/ICT)

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a full-time Sales Administrator to join our Channel Sales team in our Samrand offices. You’ll work on-site alongside a growing team of sales professionals, project leads, operation teams and marketing specialists.

Job responsibilities

• Monitor online orders received via company website
• Process orders on company system (Fincon) timeously and accurately
• Monitor outstanding orders/payments and cancel where necessary
• Allocate orders to the correct location where stock is located and communicate orders to different warehouses
• Daily communication to warehouses to ensure orders are invoiced and dispatched timeously
• Manage and communicate orders with insufficient stock to the manager and customer
• Monitor delivery of parcels to customers/end-users and follow up / investigate undelivered orders
• Work with dormant customer base to validate eligibility to retain account
• Assist with account manager queries / customer queries whilst account managers are out of office or unavailable to assist

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Completion of Matric or National Senior Certificate – Tertiary qualification a benefit
• Trustworthy and dependable
• Punctual and willing to do what is necessary to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and manage own time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Very good communication skills (verbal and writing)
• Able to communicate with different levels of customers
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook recommended
• Professional attitude
• Work well under pressure
