Junior Sales Executive – Food Sector

A leading FMCG company is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join their team of go-getters in Johannesburg South. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in a food production environment.

Education:

• Tertiary qualification in food science/food technology/agricultural science/Marketing/Business is desirable

Skills/Experience required:

• At least 3 – 5 years strong sales experience within FMCG
• Previous industry experience in a food production environment is advantageous

Job Description:

• Deliver targeted revenue and margin for assigned customers in ensuring the budget is achieved.
• Manage and grow the existing customer base, presenting further future opportunities to grow market share.
• Conduct market research on target markets and create new business opportunities
• Develop positive and strong relationships with suppliers
• Work closely with finance and logistics team to ensure all processes are followed.
• Contribute and regularly update sales data at weekly meetings.
• Actively contribute as member of the sales management team in supporting a longer-term growth strategy.
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Support and execute the overall company and product strategies.
• Worldwide travel required for this role.
