Junior Service Engineer - Technician
Salary - R15 000 TCTC
Based in Midrand

A leading Medical Equipment organisation based in Midrand requires a Technician to assist the Senior Service Engineer in the field.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric Certificate with minimum 50 % for Mathematics
Sound Technical Background – Degree / Diploma not compulsory
Drivers Licence and own vehicle
Proficient in MS Office
All administrative duties and weekly reports
Own Vehicle to be used for work- Travel Allowance will be provided
Willing to Travel - Including Africa
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Complete daily service tasks scheduled by the operations manager which includes, Installations, Validations and re-certifications of products
Do call- outs, assessments and repair work as scheduled and arranged by Post service, Senior service engineers and Technical Manager
Do firmware installations and update applicable products
Assist and supervise Ducting/extraction installations
Do site assessments and site inspections for installations and as requested by management.
Assist with generating sales for both Sales team and Service team. By recommending parts, Services, and new products when on site to clients (New business development)
Any other task that might be required from time to time by management
Carry out tasks and any other duties required by senior service engineers
