POSITION INFO:
As a Junior Technology Generalist, you will work across multiple functional areas, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and learning foundational technical skills in a supportive environment.

You will engage in a range of activities relating to the tech space, from support to development, operations and commercials, while receiving mentorship to help you explore different areas within technology.

Responsibilities:

Assist in supporting cross-functional tech and business projects.
Conduct research and data analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and document processes.
Take on introductory tasks in software development or related technical projects.
Develop basic project management skills by assisting in planning, tracking, and reporting on tasks.
Participate in team meetings, contributing insights and engaging in collaborative discussions.
Work in an Agile space and learning the Agile way.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Academic Performance:

GPA of 70% or higher from UCT, Stellenbosch, Wits, or UP.
GPA of 80% or higher from other universities.

Experience: 0-3 years in a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
Preferred Skills:

Interest or foundational knowledge in software development is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

You will be required to complete an online assessment for analytical and logical skills (note: the coding section is included but not marked) and submit your transcripts for review.

The final remuneration package offered by the employer will be determined based on market standards, considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
