Junior graphic designer and marketing support

SUMMARY:


We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer and Marketing Support to join our team. This role requires strong technical proficiency with various software programs and office equipment, particularly design software. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, passionate about the digital workspace, and eager to learn new tools.You'll collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team, juggling a variety of projects, from designing marketing collateral to supporting online campaigns, in a fast-paced environment. Our marketing team operates in a results-oriented environment where initiative and a proactive approach are highly valued. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team directly reporting to a middle manager with a senior manager overseeing a broader scope.This role involves contributing to multiple projects that utilize established design systems and workflows to ensure efficiency and brand consistency. As our department continues to refine its processes, we value a proactive approach and the ability to identify opportunities and take ownership of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Graphics:
• Corel Draw Suite
• Work with team to create high-quality designs using CorelDRAW and other relevant software. (experience with Adobe software a plus)
• Design visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various marketing materials (e.g. email campaigns, print advertisements).
• Work with team to develop product packaging design.
• Work with various file formats (e.g., AI, PSD, PDF, JPG).
• Understand web design principles and be able to communicate effectively with web developers.

• Work with team to manage and optimize online marketing campaigns across multiple platforms 
• Utilize Google's suite of tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console) to track and analyse campaign performance.
• Implement email marketing strategies using Drip platform.
• Work with team to create engaging email campaigns, including writing compelling copy and designing visually appealing templates. Content to be directed.

• Work with team to execute marketing campaigns, including content creation, advertising, promotional designs.
• Work with team to conduct market research and analyse industry trends.
• Printing marketing material, flyers, brochures, catalogues.
• Printing labels for manufacturing.

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a graphic design or marketing role (including internships).
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Design Skills: Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory.
• Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing principles and practices.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
