Key Account Executive - Car Van and Truck Rental

SUMMARY:
A well-established Car Van and Truck Rental company operating since 1996 across South Africa, has been able to expand and operate in Leisure, Corporate and Government market sectors. To further this, we are driving expansion and we are looking for a Key Account Executive with industry knowledge.

POSITION INFO:

Job Overview: The role of a Key Account Executive involves acting as a brand ambassador to promote brand recognition, acquire new accounts, and nurture the growth of existing accounts. This position is dedicated to boosting sales and enhancing customer service, with a focus on expanding the company''''s presence in the corporate market sector. Success in this role will be determined by achieving sales goals, securing new accounts, conducting regular sales meetings, and making cold calls to raise brand visibility and cultivate new business.

Responsibilities: 

1. Drive new business and expand existing accounts: 
2. Onboard new accounts 
3. Achieve sales targets. 
4. Drive sales meetings 
5. Make cold calls. 
6. Follow the new accounts onboarding process. 
7. Manage growth, needs, and wants of accounts. 
8. Report to business on sales, marketing opportunities, trends, threats 
9. Drive brand awareness and live the brand. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

1. Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, with a focus on key accounts. 
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
4. Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
5. Customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
6. Knowledge of the car rental industry and market trends.
