LABORATORY INSTRUMENTATION SALES REP

Qualifications and experience:

• Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in biochemistry, microbiology, genetics or similar sciences.
• A proven sales track record in the sales of laboratory instrumentation is required
• At least 3 years’ experience in high technology laboratory instrumentation  

KPA’s:

• Responsible for the sales of life science and related equipment
• Represent the company professionally and technically in accounts in the assigned territory
• Acceptance of a sales quota for the territory
• Liaison with customers on sales issues and activities
• Quotation generation and configuration of new instruments and systems
• Prospecting for new business and lead generation
• Maintain business contact with existing customers

Manage and allocate resources as necessary in team selling into strategic accounts
