Job Description

My client is looking for a Management Accountant in the Durban / Pinetown area.  You will be responsible for managing the P&L/ Balance Sheet of the company and raising any attention where needed.  Adherence to GAAP. Monthly management reporting. You will oversee the financial functions for 4 branches throughout Africa – Botswana, Ghana, DRC and The Gabon so tax knowledge of other countries besides South Africa is vital.  Must be able to work co-operatively with other branches.  Knowledge of export regulations and experience in export is an advantage.  You will also administer the payroll and oversee payroll of other branches.  French-speaking is an absolute Requirement for this position due to international travel and working with international customers.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE  a tertiary qualification in Finance and Management Accounting and at least 5 years experience as a management accountant.  Must have JDE and SAP experience.
