SUMMARY:
The focus of this role is to ensure that all equipment/Assets in the designated plant operate in an optimized condition, plan, perform and control of the maintenance function of the designated plant.
POSITION INFO:
As a result of the need for this individual to work standby as well as late shifts and weekends, it is a preference that the successful incumbent lives in Malmesbury or within a 10-15km radius. Driver's license and own, reliable vehicle is a pre-requisite.
Minimum education requirements:
N3 Level plus trade test (electrical)
N3 Level plus trade test (Fitter, Fitter and Turner)
Introduction training as per company standards
Minimum experience required:
Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 2 years in a food manufacturing environment, alternatively within a production machinery context.

- Exceptional knowledge of the relevant engineering/technical processes in own environment,
- Understanding of equipment and machines used in the operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/ electrical diagrams
- Evaluate, install and operate electrical components or equipment
- Investigative, Analytical and the ability to use problem solving tools
- Excellent troubleshooter
- Equipment maintenance and analysis
- Ability to identify reasons for and implications of engineering/technical problems
- Ability to solve engineering/technical problems
- Ability to improve utilisation and output of equipment etc
