A dynamic and fast-growing telehealth startup is looking for passionate and experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to join their innovative team as locums, REMOTELY. This is an exciting chance to be part of a forward-thinking business that is revolutionising healthcare delivery.

Position Overview:

• Role: Locum General Practitioner
• Employment Type: Flexible, paid per appointment
• Work Mode: Remote (online consultations via video conferencing)
• Hours: Minimum availability of 5 hours per week (flexible scheduling; average consult time is 10-15 minutes)
• Growth Opportunity: Potential for longer contracts as the business expands

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality virtual consultations with patients via a telemedicine platform.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage patient health concerns in line with current medical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using digital tools.
• Stay informed about the latest medical trends and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified GP.
• Registration with the relevant medical board and possessing a valid practising license - HPCSA Registered.
• Experience and confidence in online patient consultations using video conferencing tools.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional setup for virtual consultations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centred care.
