LOGISTICS ADMIN ASSISTANT

Our client is one of the most respected businesses in the Robertson Valley. They have a vacancy for a LOGISTICS ADMIN ASSISTANT based at their head office in Ashton.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Validate intakes on export system and check for differences between packhouse and export system
• Liaising with customers, producers and marketing team with regards to information needed
• Registering new customers, producers and pack codes on export system
• Shipping documentation and invoices to customers
• Assist with loadouts to customers – local and exports
• Monitoring crate and pallet transfers between packhouse and customers
• Registering shipping claims and follow-up with shipping lines / insurers
• Signing off creditor’s invoices and allocating to shipments

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer literate – be proficient in Excel
• Experience in logistics in the fruit industry
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Attention to detail
• Strong administrative and analytical skills
• Need to be able to work under pressure
• Team player
