SUMMARY:
The logistics Clerk will perform a wide variety of duties and tasks related to the receipt, check, distribution and prepare the paperwork such as Commercial Invoice and Packing list per truck after the receiving of cargo in Durban, need also to assist appointed freight forwarder or warehouse to follow company standard requirement, monitor their daily work then report to company logistics. Executing any other tasks relevant logistics operation in Durban.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions
- Assisting and monitor the offloading of company's cargo from the vessels with appointed freight forwarded or warehouse.
- Countercheck the quantity of the goods received from the vessel and report to company logistics team immediately if any damages or lost from the vessel.
- Countercheck the goods delivery list from the supplier.
- Monitor the safety loading of cargos onto the truck in port.
- Monitor the unpacking of container in warehouse
- Monitor the load efficiency of trucks in bond warehouse
- Prepare some paperwork with warehouse as per mine-site's requirement.
- Maintains an awareness of all occupational hazards and safety precautions. Follows safety practices and recognizing hazards
- SAP or other system data entry as required.
- May implement Supply Chain strategies as required
