Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Landscaper to join their picturesque guest farm, located in a tranquil and remote setting near Montagu. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of the gardens while creating an engaging experience for guests.
- Location: Ouberg – 25km’s outside Montagu.
- Accommodation: Provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean stone paths, flower beds, dams, and water channels.
- Identify and manage weed control, differentiating between plants, seedlings, and weeds.
- Perform general garden maintenance, including planting, feeding, watering, and pest control.
- Share knowledge about the garden and its features with guests to enhance their experience.
Applicant Requirements:
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- A qualification in agriculture or horticulture is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of practical gardening experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and uphold high standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for indigenous plants and a deep respect for nature.
