Position Overview:

The Logistics Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the logistics function. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop within a company that values its people and fosters professional growth. While prior logistics experience is not essential, it is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily logistics operations to ensure seamless movement of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all logistics activities.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to resolve any logistical challenges.
• Support the logistics team with general administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior logistics experience (advantageous but not required).

Location: Paarl, office based.

Salary: Market related and negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience.
