Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY:
We require a Logistics Coordinator from the fruit export industry. Previous experience essential.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Agriculture, Logistics, International Trade or similar
3. At least 2 years fruit /export industry experience
4. Produce Linc experience
5. Business Central experience

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments from port to overseas customers
• Capture and process loading of product
• Provide source documentation to logistics agent
• Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
• Identify and fix logistics errors
• Oversee on time delivery to port
• Receive orders, add to inventory and process on system
• Any other relevant logistics function as required from time to time
• Engage in regular communication with service providers such as shipping companies, port facilities and logistics service providers
• Ensure timely schedules for shipping
• Maintain accurate and consistent records
• Address errors to promote client satisfaction
• Manage inventory and dwell time and ensure timeous shipment
