Job Description:

A leading manufacturer company specializing in providing high-quality packaging solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a team of 5 individuals, ensuring the efficient operation of logistics functions and smooth delivery processes.

Location: Maitland, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and managed a team of 5 logistics staff, ensuring all tasks were completed on time and according to company standards.
• Plan and oversee the delivery schedules, managing resources to ensure effective and economical operations.
• Coordinate with various departments, including production and sales, to ensure timely deliveries and stock management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain essential documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and reports.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of the logistics industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license, with experience operating logistics equipment (e.g., forklifts) preferred.
