Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY:
We have an exciting position for a young dynamic person with expericne in Supply Chain and Sales. This is a fast growing department and we need a go getter who wants to grow a career in Supply Chain.

POSITION INFO:

The incumbent needs to drive operational excellence within the production and planning functions by developing and implementing effective systems and procedures, ensuring seamless operations that align with the business unit’s growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary education in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred
• High level computer literacy
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail

 Key Performance Areas:

• Develop capacity plan from sales forecasts to ensure alignment between demand and production capabilities.
• Backwards scheduling from FG required to RM needs
• Time-line management of RM requirements to ensure seamless production flows.
• Order and manage raw materials efficiently using systems like Kanban.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize raw material procurement.
• Plan and oversee production schedules
• Monitor and report on production efficiency and address variances proactively
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Liaise with Logistics to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Partner with Quality Control (QC) to address and resolve quality defects effectively.
• Communicate with the Sales Team regarding stock availability and delivery timelines.
