Logistics Coordinator

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Tertiary Qualification in Logistics Management or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Ability to meet changing deadlines and solve problems promptly.

 
Responsibilities:

• Manage the logistics team to ensure optimal performance through evaluations. 
• Install improvement initiatives to contribute to skills development.
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of stock.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
• Reviewing purchase orders and delivery documents to ensure accuracy.
• Making special delivery arrangements as necessary.
• Tracking and fixing delivery errors.
• Preparing invoices.
• Managing distribution and delivery budgets.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
