Job Description:

A leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, is looking for a logistics professional ready to lead a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Logistics Department, overseeing all deliveries, despatching, and personnel.
• Plan, organize, and document delivery schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with production to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.
• Manage the entire fleet, including multiple vehicles and third-party transport services.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and road traffic regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of stock, delivery schedules, and fuel consumption.
• Conduct fault-finding inspections and oversee weekly and monthly stock takes.
• Act as a contingency for the Logistics Administrator, fulfilling duties as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health and Safety and Production Planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a logistics leadership role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Pastel Accounting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards is a plus.
