SUMMARY:

Logistics and Admin Assistant

A company in the Edenvale/Germiston area, Johannesburg East Rand, in the plumbing business, needs a Logistics and Admin Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be female and be responsible for administration duties.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:

Knowledge

Grade 12 Minimum
Logistics qualification will be an advantage
PC Literacy – MS Office
Knowledge of the plumbing industry is greatly advantageous
At least 1 year’s related work experience – ideally in a plumbing business
Sound numeric ability
The successful candidate will receive 1-month on-the-job training

Interpersonal competencies

Communicates clearly and reasons logically (written and verbal)
Operates as a team player
Interacts in a professional manner

Personal competencies

Conscientious - meets deadlines, pays attention to detail and ensures quality
Able to prioritise, follow-up and schedule work in a methodical manner

The successful candidate will start ASAP and the salary will be market-related and based on qualification and experience.
Preference will be give to female candidates.
