The role is based in Centurion but candidates can work remotely
Local trading company based in Centurion is looking for a By-products trader to establish a new sub-division and complement their existing team.
The company would prefer an experienced agri commodity trader who has around five years knowledge and experience in both the domestic and cross border markets and who is suitably qualified. The trader will preferably have an established book of suppliers and off-takers of minimum 40,000mt per year in diverse products including, but not limited to Oil-byproducts, Lucerne, Animal byproducts. The successful candidate will require knowledge and experience in the field as a physical CIF trader as well with good connections and an existing network with suppliers and clients and farmers.
A strong marketing personality is required for this role as it is essential in this role that the candidate maintains good public relations suppliers and clients
He/She must understand the whole agri commodity trading cycle including the logistic management on all physical trades.
The role offers a negotiable package, including commission, in a growing company which is expanding its footprint.
This is an opportunity for a Senior junior or Junior Senior by-products trader to join an established team in a best practices organisation which is risk averse and add value.
About the company:
The company is a medium sized trading company has long standing relationships with various producers and suppliers. It was established nineteen years ago and trades agricultural commodities for the animal feed industry, but it has recently extended its range of commodities to the products of the milling industry as well.
