M&A Associate (Open to Expats)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a M&A associate to join their team in Harare, Zimbabwe.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a M&A associate to join their team in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing pitches and presentations for origination and deal implementation activities.

• Creating and maintain financial models and perform valuations for our client and capital raising transactions.

• Preparing selling documents for transactions - information memos and teasers.

• Supporting the deal due diligence process including managing the dataroom and bidder information requests.

• Assisting in the preparation of other transaction documents and coordinating with other advisors where required.

• Engaging with clients and potential bidders and investors.

• Preparing KYC and background checks prior to client onboarding.

• Managing and training junior team members and overseeing their work.

Qualifications:

• Degree level qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments or similar.

• Minimum matric mathematics: 80%; Minimum matric English: 70%; or equivalent A-levels.

• 3-5 years of experience in a corporate finance / transaction advisory / private equity space.
