MAINTENANCE BUYER - MIDLANDS AREA, KWAZULU-NATAL
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced MAINTENANCE BUYER for a large concern – position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Relevant qualification in Buying, Stock Control, or Inventory Management.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). SAP or similar systems ESSENTIAL!
3+yrs working in a similar position / stock control environment within the FMCG industry.
Creating orders and receiving stock, credit notes, returns, etc. is required.
Stock keeping; spares / workshop environment; implementation of stock control systems.
Establish and maintain the maintenance stores (in workshop and off-site warehouse).
Manage the stock control system in the maintenance stores, including the implementation of controls.
Ordering of spares and stock control for the maintenance stores.
Maintaining of minimum / maximum stock levels.
Dealing with reps, buying and ensuring best price and quality.
Monthly stock take (over weekends).
Update order book and process invoices.
Drive housekeeping, safety and continual improvement in the maintenance stores.
Must be willing to work Public Holidays and weekends, as required.
