POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a trade tested and experienced MAINTENANCE FITTER a large international concern, position based in the Mossel Bay area, Western Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Trade tested Fitter.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license.

3-5 years’ working experience in a similar position.

Position will involve installing, servicing and repairing engineering machinery and equipment.

Work on mechanical or electronical systems.

Thorough understanding of safety rules in the manufacturing environment.

Previous working experience with welding, motors and gearboxes, conveyor maintenance and elevators.

Coordinate general worker staff workload.

Operate, implement and maintain mechanical equipment.

Maintaining and implementing of quality and safety standards.

General maintenance administration.

Person will be required to work overtime and long hours.
