MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - TOOLMAKER

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - TOOLMAKER wanted for global automotive manufacturing giant, based in Uitenhage

Duties

• Supervise and maintain machines,
• make sure that they are in a good,
• clean and working order
• Supervise and perform services, modifications and repairs
• To undertake all planned maintenance work as per schedules.
• to complete all specified work within the time limits.
• To make sure that all conveying equipment is kept in good and working order
• To undertake all electrical work related to breakdowns when required
• Assist with new installations and projects
• To help to ensure that start-up checks are done
• To help to ensure that all preventative checks are done

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE 

• Injection Moulding essential
• Presses Hydraulics
• Factory Maintenance
• Welding
• Pipe Fitting
• Tools
• Preventative and predictive maintenance
• High pressure pumps

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Qualified Toolmaker
• Experience in Automotive manufacture essential

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

• Mechanical/Electrical knowledge of hydraulic presses
• Knowledge of factory maintenance
• Knowledge of arc welding
• Knowledge of pipe fitting
• Advanced electrical experience
• Knowledge of press tools
• Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance
• Knowledge of high pressure pumps
